My camp at North Saint Vrain Campsite.
The North Saint Vrain Campsite has two sites, and this foursome from Boulder and Fort Collins had the other site.  I shared their company and ate dinner with them.

This was a very frightening moment.  30 seconds after arriving at Lion Lake Number 2, a sound similar to cannon going off occurred right next to me, echoing off of the valley walls.  I then saw that a large chunk of the snowfield next to the lake had fallen off into the water.
